Number One Teacher
Miss Wyllie,
I'm happy that you're my teacher;
I enjoy each lesson you teach.
As my role model you inspire me
To dream and to work and to reach.
With your kindness you get my attention;
Every day you are planting a seed
Of curiosity and motivation
To know and to grow and succeed.
You help me fulfill my potential;
I'm thankful for all that you've done.
I admire you each day, and I just want to say,
As a teacher, you're number one!

Dental writing
You know those weird white things in your mouth? Well those are your teeth. So listen up alot of things can go wrong with your teeth, plaque is caused by eating lots of sugary foods such a lollies.
The result in this Cavity's,Tooth Decay and sometimes tooth extractions and fillings. To prevent cavities and early tooth decay. You will need to brush your pearly whites.
Using a pea size of fluoride toothpaste (Note babies should not use fluoride toothpaste). Brush for two minutes every night and morning.
When you go to the dentist they may want to take an X-Ray of your teeth don't worry it doesn't hurt.
Hopefully this has taught you how to take care of those pearly white.

Grand Eiffel Twin Tower!
Not too long ago now we did a Team building collaboration activity.
This involved making a tower out of these materials: 3 pieces of card, 1 Metre of cello tape and 1 pair of scissors. This *may* sound easy but it was super hard!
The tallest tower would win. My group had to figure out how to make it tall and how to make it stand on its own.
Me,Oliver,Anthony and Rose had lots of trouble so we made a more of a structured tower rather than a tall one. We made the Grand Eiffel Twin Tower!
Making it stand was super hard but the most easiest bit would have to be designing.
To collaborate we had to listen and communicate to each other which also meant we were good collaborators!
We may not have won but we sure learnt how to collaborate!

A Screaming hot day
Standing in the fresh grassy Field my lips touched the icy crispness of my water. The sweltering hotness of the pale sun covered me. The fresh grass smelt like it had a shower.
I could see parents swarming their sweaty children. The Onion smelling BO lingered around me. The sound of cheering came closer.
My eyes burned as the fiery sun shone as if it was a volcano. The chirping of birds and cheering slowly died away.

There he was my beutiflu sun. We were all very crying like a waterfall with tears of joy! It was the best day ever everyone was so happy he was home! I was elated because he was home he was dusty and mucky we were all proud. it was the best day of our familys life the family was speechless he was home! Then together the family all said -"lest we forget" to all the fallen soilders.
Archibald Baxter
Some Room 15 students go and read in Room 14. We read a book in the school journal called - His Own war. This is a Non Fiction storey ( so its true) This book was about a Middle aged man called Archibald Baxter and his war. He was one of the patrons in WW1 who fought in his own way the way no man would want to. It started off war was announced and thousands of men rushed to enlist. But the time came when they were still low on troops this was when Military Conscripted was introduced. This is when the government will send out letters to young men in between the age of 20 and 40 one of these men was Archibald Baxter he was just 39 when he got this letter.....But Archi refused to fight this meant 84 days of prison. But after these 84 days he still refused. He refused to follow orders were uniforms and even handle a gun.This meant he would have to be tied to a pole in a farm for a week with no food and water his feet weren't allowed to touch the ground. When he was untied his hands were black but after that he still Refused to fight so he was put in the front line and suffered memory loss he went to hospital and went home after months so that meant Archibald won his war.
